FOREST HILLS, NY, UNITED STATES, August 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Conch Shell International Film Fest (CSIFF), presented by Queens-based nonprofit Conch Shell Productions, Inc., announces the 47 films selected for its 2026 Official Selection.

Taking place October 9–11, 2026, CSIFF26 brings Caribbean and Caribbean Diaspora filmmakers, film lovers, and industry professionals together for three days of screenings, industry conversations, professional development, and community.

This year’s films originate from Aruba, Canada, Colombia, Curaçao, Dominica, France, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Suriname, the United Kingdom, and the United States—reflecting the geographic and cultural breadth of contemporary Caribbean storytelling.
Early Bird Festival Passes are now on sale at www.conchshelliff.com.

OUR CULTURE LIVES IN OUR STORIES.
“Every year, I’m reminded of just how expansive Caribbean storytelling is,” said Magaly Colimon-Christopher, Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Conch Shell Productions and Conch Shell International Film Fest. “There is no single Caribbean story. Our filmmakers bring different cultures, histories, languages, perspectives, and experiences to the screen. CSIFF creates a space for those voices to be seen, for filmmakers to find one another, and for audiences to discover stories they might not encounter anywhere else.”

Founded in 2021, CSIFF creates a gathering place for Caribbean and Caribbean Diaspora filmmakers to showcase their work, connect with audiences and industry professionals, and build lasting creative relationships. Through screenings, panels, conversations, workshops, networking, and pre-festival programming, CSIFF works to increase the visibility of Caribbean-heritage storytellers in the American film industry.

CSIFF26 is made possible in part with support from the A.R.T./New York Creative Opportunity Fund, Resorts World Gives Grant, and a PSC-CUNY Research Award through York College.
